The Learning Center at Tech Boston is a fully inclusive setting where both regular and special education students perform curriculum related projects and receive additional instruction in Research Skills, English and Mathematics. Our Learning Center staff is assisted by loyal volunteer tutors from area businesses and colleges, who provide additional one-on-one assistance to students.

In addition, the Learning Center utilizes technology extensively as a learning tool. Programs such as voice activated software promote greater writing production. In addition, Inspiration is used as a graphic organizer for assignments, Lexia self-paced reading software is used to improve decoding skills, and programs such as Co-Writer and Write Out Loud assist students with longer writing assignments. Additionally, students feel comfortable accessing the Learning Center for extra help when needed.
